When he sees members of the audience crying while heโs performing his dance, Xavi is a bit disappointed. If theyโre crying because theyโre moved by his dancing as an art form, thatโs fine. But if itโs out of pity because heโs in a wheelchair, they can โfuck off.โ A similar attitude can be detected in Jos de Putter and Clara van Goolโs portrait of the Catalan dance collective Liant la Troca, whose members include people with a physical disability.
