Alone at Sea - Comments & Tips

This documentary follows sailor Éric Bellion as he competes in the Vendée Globe, a single-handed (solo) non-stop yacht race around the world without assistance. Honestly, it feels like we''re watching his holiday videos filmed with a selfie, as the footage is only that captured by boat cameras or filmed himself and presented here without narration, explanations or soundtrack. The film gave me a great deal of respect for those sailors skilled enough and strong enough (both mentally and physically) to complete the race, but their voyage is not my trip.
