Shit. I really expected something more from that movie. As I read the plot, I expected something great like in Short Bus ( http://trakt.tv/movie/shortbus-2006 ) But there wasn't. The plot is very simple and unfortunately there are not many surprises in it: Guy wants to get back is girlfriend. She broke up because he is VERY conservative and really poor in bed. So he needs some help and finds that in a nice young lady. She is working as a stripper and got problems too: she has no clue about financial stuff but is very good in sex-stuff. So they are helping each other. And a love story develops which you already predicted. .-/ But in my opinion it isn't a very sexual movie. Yes there are some scenes which are sexual but nothing that justifies the title "My Awkward Sexual Adventure"! The movie is more about a role-changing, role playing game. And that also doesn't really work out too much. But maybe its bad I compare it to a movie like shortbus. But anyway: some funny scenes are in this movie, and it is quite enjoyable. But only 6 out of 10. If you expect something really cool or good you better watch Shortbus.
