Never watched it .. but the letter is a good read ..

[RTVE Play] Based on the true story of one of the last women convicted of witchcraft in Europe, it collects part of popular traditions to develop a story that was the last film directed by Gertrud Pinkus. It succeeds in a magical environment that is reflected in the attention to the wooded landscapes of the canton of Glarus, in Switzerland. And it is especially interested in developing the main character, not so much as a victim (which she obviously was) but as an independent woman who ended up facing the dubious morality of her time.
