Ma référence en terme de comédie française ! J''ai beau avoir vu ce film des dizaines de fois je découvre toujours de nouvelles références, de nouveaux jeux de mots, de nouvelles blagues. Je ne m''en lasserais jamais !

There's something about French absurd humor that when it works, it really works. And here it works. The Egyptian setting, Cleopatra's bet with Caesar, Numerobis running around trying not to be eaten by crocodiles... everything fits. The gags have rhythm, there are no dead moments that weigh down other installments of the saga. And the best part is it doesn't take itself seriously, but doesn't fall into easy jokes all the time either. There's a rare balance that makes it work for both kids and adults. By far, the best of the live-action adaptations. Should have been the standard, not the exception.
