The kind of animated movie we need more of. No talking, no musical numbers, and no echoing of other movies. This is a beautifully animated tale that is both an adventure and a meditation on the closeness of death. And with a short running time, it doesn’t overstay its welcome.

[Atlántida FF] This survival story has very wide nuances. Although it has the appearance of basic 3D animation, the '"one-hand'" work by Gints Zilbalodis creates a very personal universe. There are magical moments, such as the confusion between sky and water in a lake that produces mirages, and we wonder about the nature of his journey. It is a metaphorical tale that speaks of the fine line that divides life and death.
