On the night she plans on taking her own life, 17-year-old 'Lisa McVey' is kidnapped and finds herself fighting to stay alive and manages to be a victim of rape. She manages to talk her attacker into releasing her, but when she returns home, no one believes her story except for one detective, who suspects she was abducted by a serial killer. I have questions. She wrote a suicide note, she was going to take her life, why wouldn’t she just say no to all the things the kidnapper said and he would have killed her and then she wouldn’t have had to go through HELL. Also her whole family failed her also why is Katie Douglas always in kidnapping documentaries!

For being a television movie, I thought this was pretty successful. The story is compelling enough to be interesting in whatever medium it is presented in, and that’s certainly the case here. Rating: 3/5 - 7.5/10 - Worth Watching

This movie has a good, strong message and gets it across very well, it’s honestly amazing. I watched it once and that was it though, quite a heavy movie

As sick as this subject matter is, the story told here was excellently told and I found myself tearing up for Lisa..no girl or boy should have to go through that kind of pain.
