Cannibal Girls - Comments & Tips

Billed as a horror comedy, this is nothing of the sort. Maybe I don't get Canadian humor, but this is simply a '70s gore movie... only there's one problem: there's no gore in it. What a missed opportunity, so much is great here. I mean, this is basically a Herschell Gordon Lewis film, with a bigger budget, and generally a better production. The movie runs at a snail's pace, and it is creepy, however it just fails to go anywhere. Our trio of cannibal girls are hot - girls in the '70s were just built differently - and we even get some nudity. Yum. I think I'd still recommend this to fans of 1970s horror, just know it's very light on the blood.
