It's a Mexican comedy about a woman named Cindy, a young woman from Monterrey used to living a life of luxury, which she shows off on social media. Surrounded by wealth, wearing brand-name clothes, and taking photos for the pose, Cindy thinks she has everything she needs to be happy. But when she moves to Mexico City, she discovers that maybe what she lacks isn’t found in her influencer world. Throughout the movie, Cindy faces a life she's not used to, full of "normal" people who don't care as much about appearances. The story shows how she begins to question her obsession with social media and learns that what's most important isn't what's seen on Instagram, but real connections with others. It's like that Polish girl I know, who listens to cumbia and takes photos of landscapes, thinking she’s part of Latin America just because she follows trends. Cindy goes through something similar, living in her bubble, until she realizes that true happiness doesn’t come from lifestyle but from being authentic and connecting genuinely with others.
