Cosmic Princess Kaguya! - Comments & Tips

The trailer wasn’t kidding about the visuals, it’s truly incredible! unfortunately the story is so-so, the two main girl are okay but it’s Yachiyo that kept me engaged the whole time, and black onix should have got more scenes than what we got 😭 the songs are not bad, the worlds is mine is the only song that made it to my playlist. Score: fine (i don’t hate this movie but i won’t recommend it either, unless you want to watch great animation )

I don’t review much but. This was a 10/10 for me beautiful animation, really good story (not the best sadly), great plot twist, great music. And the dub was really well done too, I am left depressed afterwards but in a good way.

OMG it’s like the colours were massaging my eye balls the whole time, even through the tears, you’ll understand when you watch it. I did watch it on Netflix in English so tbh I wasn’t a fan of the singing, the lyrics just didn’t mesh well, I have no doubt in Japanese it harmonised though. FR though immersive VR needs to get here like NOW!!

This anime is so visually appealing and all the characters are so attractive in its character. The concert or the theme songs has been so great and its lyrics simply tied to the ending. I just can’t help rewatch it again after seeing the ending with all the Easter eggs with all the twist. One con is that I feel like they could cut down the battle scene a bit but extending more on the final sector of the movie to make it more rounded If kpop demon slayer is a global hit, this anime should be sit higher than that.

The anime is definitely visually appealing, yet it’s a shame it doesn’t come with above-average songs, especially when concerts take a big part in the story. I was hoping the concert would at least match the level of regular idolm@ster concert. What’s worse, the storytelling starts to fall apart in the middle, and then rushes to the end. I feel so sorry that the story has so much potential but ends so badly.
