Rumley threads theological anguish through exploitation textures, pushing questions of forgiveness versus vengeance until they cut. A clever film that terrifies it's audience with the threat of seeing images they wouldn't want to see. This film deals with real-life horrors that make your blood curdle but also various more personal dilemmas. The performances are great, especially Steve Oram who manages to inject humour into a very dark tale, as he is so good at doing. Really well made original film.
