After his transphobic arc, at least this time Dave is standing on the correct side of history with the issue of genocide in Gaza. To me this felt more like a history lesson with some jokes sprinkled around rather than an actual stand-up comedy show. It was still funny though..

Waited an hour for the comedy to start. Then waited 15 minutes for the show to end cos I couldn't reach the remote and I had a cat on my lap.

One of his worst performances of late imo, jokes just did not seem to land like they did before, a couple of laughs here and there but dave seemed like he had no energy, maybe he was too high lol.

If I wanted to watch a man who propped up a billionaire on-stage, I'd go to a Trump rally. Fortunately, I possess a brain, so i'll stay away from both this special, and far-right rallies.

The first 30 minutes are poorly paced setup for what is a really good set. With a lot of it being fluff justifying taking Saudi money (which really doesn't need to be defended). I saw Dave right after the Charleston Church shooting in 2015, and he took a minute to have a somber tone about who we are as a people to appeal to humanity, and it's a great message and it's real, but it changes the tone. You can see the Charlie Kirk shooting did the same here, and while Dave doesn't hide disdain for actions of the Trump administration, there is definitely an appeal to a centrist, unified humanity, and a better tomorrow with a scathing review of the past and the present --but a respect for his audience. This is not a great comedy set, but it is a decent set and a good watch, there are some really solid jokes in it, Dave is still an all time great, but this is a continuation of Dave's appeal to humanity that has defined his public appearances for the better part of of a decade now.

Dave doing what he does best. There were a few odd and unnecessary bits, but if you know Dave 'Controverselle', then you know what to expect. The older he gets, the more political he seems to be, and of course, comedy is always political, but this might just be his most political stand-up yet. Considering the times we live in, I think it's all very relevant and important. It's more of a TED talk with sprinkles of comedy, but he had my attention the whole way through, so I can't really complain.
