Probably the worst Video Nasty. First saw it when I was thirteen and hated it. Not even the (somewhat wonky) tits impressed me. Even The Driller Killer was cool when I was thirteen, despite being greatly inferior to its contemporaries. I gave this one a rewatch in my journey thru the Video Nasties, and nearly ten years later I still hate it. Most might regard The Ghastly Ones, which I haven't seen yet, as the worst, but I quite like Andy Milligan's work, so we'll see.

Pretty bad schlockfest of a film. The acting is so over the top, but not enough to be campy. The premise and twist are okay and there's a couple hilarious bits in it, but not enough to recommend.

My local indie theater surprised us with _Don't Look In The Basement_ (1973) tonight, and halfway through I realized that it was the film within a film featured in my childhood favorite horror, _HOUSE_ (1986). I whispered to myself, "yes, this is the one."

This wasn't bad in the slightest despite its slasher-film mentality and shoestring budget. Not bad at all if you have the stomach for this sort of thing.
