Down to Earth - Comments & Tips

Despite having traveled quite a bit myself, and also being interested in the ideas of this movie, it was quite a let down for me. As an audience, we are not really introduced to the family, other than knowing they had moved ''to the woods'' some years before. Other than that, the family travel the world in search of ''earth wisdoms''. The people they meet are interesting, the places are beautiful, but the movie lacks substance. We are left with brief wisdoms about the earth without any explanations, elaborations or discussion.
