Lacey Chabert stars in _Family for Christmas_; Hallmark’s take on _The Family Man_. The story follows a successful newswoman who makes a Christmas wish that she had made different life choices, and wakes up the next day to find herself in a different life where she’s married to her college sweetheart and raising a family. Chabert gives a strong performance, and the writing’s pretty good; finding clever ways for Chabert’s character to reason out her situation and adapt to it. Also, the comedy is rather fun and the film has a nice message about the importance of family. Entertaining and full of Christmas spirit, _Family for Christmas_ is one of Chabert’s best Hallmark films.

A Santa causes her to wake up with husband Leitso, two kids and a house in the suburbs. Eventually she learns to love this life, but in the end, she must take the lessons learned back to the real world. Chabert is as winsome as ever.
