Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Surface level commentary, bad animation, annoyingly pretentious. Bad.

I watched this short when it came out, and I thought it was terrific at the time. I wanted to check it out again to see if my opinion changed about it. While I love the animation, I did not think it was as deep as it wanted it to be. The first time I watched it, I was like, “Woah, it has a complex message.” Now I realized its surface level commentary on our capitalistic society and how we place our happiness on inanimate objects rather than finding it within ourselves. It does not go beyond that. It''s a decent short with a simple message on our society, and the visual is captivating, definitely worth a watch.
