Heart Shot - Comments & Tips
Interesting premise and the two leads delivered solid performances, but the rapid change from teen romance to action just did not work. And then an open-ended finale? Very unsatisfying watch
It starts off as a sweet teenage drama filled with romance and attraction. But don’t get too comfortable. Because before you know it, the film takes a sharp turn into something utterly tasteless – securing its place in the cinematic walk of shame. The twist? One of the girls turns out to be some kind of Bond-meets-Bruce-Lee character with a violent past. WTF? And somehow, they manage to cram all of this into just 18 short minutes. The only redeeming quality is the cinematography, which is surprisingly decent. But that’s about it. Painfully bad. Rating: ⭐1/10 Production: 1/10 Cinematography: 5/10 Authenticity: 0/10
This may be a short film but it has all the hallmarks of a box office hit. The script grabs you. The acting is top notch. The action is superbly choreographed and executed. This could easily be the opening scene of a movie I’d love to see but, sadly, it is not, so I had to reduce my rating from 10 to 9. I give this short film a 9 (excellent) out of 10.
Too short, would give a higher score if it's longer
That’s IT?!!,! Wait a minute. I demand an extension.
