Just felt like the bunny was being mean to the human the whole movie. I guess it was supposed to be funny, but it just felt sad and upsetting. The whole movie just kinda fell flat.

Average kids movie. It was ok at times but for the most part of the movie it was pretty boring.

Obnoxious and eye roll needle drops. Candy factory looks kinda fun, but generally pointless.

Hey, Christmas movies do great. Let's cash in on Easter. We don't even need a good story. ...and thus HOP is born.

Best and worst Easter movie ever... only reason it''s the best because it''s the ONLY EASTER MOVIE.

From DreamWorks comes the fun holiday film Hop. Not wanting to go into the family business, the Easter Bunnyโ€™s son runs off to Hollywood and makes friends with a fellow misfit. Starring James Marsden, Russell Brand, Hank Azaria, Gary Cole, and The Hoff (David Hasselhoff), the film has a pretty solid cast. Also, the animation in really good with incredibly creative designs for the hidden Easter candy factory; through there are a couple of awkward scenes where the CGI creatures standout from the live-action backgrounds. And, the comedy is a little juvenile at times โ€“ aiming for younger audiences. Still, Hop is an enjoyable family film thatโ€™s entertaining and delivers some laughs.

Thankfully in Australia we got it at Easter time. Not too bad, the kids enjoyed it and I had a couple laughs.

Spoilers

The Easter Bunny''s son E.B. wants to be a drummer instead of run the family business. Which leads him to run away where he meets deadbeat Fred (James Marsden) who has no ambitions. Until Fred himself realizes he wants to be the Easter Bunny. Spoiler: E.B. wanting to be a drummer sort of goes nowhere since he winds up being the Easter Bunny anyway with Fred as his co-Easter Bunny. Without much explanation to why he suddenly gave up his dreams to do what he didn''t want to. Otherwise the movie is cute and harmless if you''re not offended by Bunnies pooping perfectly edible jelly beans.
