I Know What You Did Last Christmas - Comments & Tips
A waste of a spooky premise. I Know What You Did Last Christmas squanders a potentially tense setup — estranged friends, a secluded holiday reunion, and a dark prank in the past — on paper-thin characters, flat dialogue, and clumsy pacing. At just 1h10m the film rushes through plot beats without building suspense or emotional stakes, so the mystery never feels threatening and the scares land with a thud. Gregory Randolph Jr.’s direction and C.M. Wright’s script lean on genre tropes instead of fresh ideas, and while the cast (Helen Baird, Jules Dan Robins and others) try to sell the material, they’re given little to work with. An amateurish effort that’ll leave horror fans disappointed.
