[Venice '25] The vertigo that comes with the decision to emigrate to another country is reflected in this story, told with a calm gaze that captures the city of Tehran like a poetic dedication. Although it doesn't aim to provoke reflections on emigration or propose political positions in a country like Iran where it's so easy to do so, it certainly paints a picture of Amir's surroundings through the group of friends he meets, something that is unusual in Iranian stories. It's a film that seeks to look more into the humanity of its characters, describing the uncertainty of a young man who feels the melancholy of his city even before he's left.
