Wow... where to start on this stinker? LOL I mean, if you're a fan of - and you're looking for - really bad cannibal movies (like I was), then yeah, this will probably float your boat because it's plenty gruesome but apart from that, it's just a really awful movie. There's basically no story: crash your light aircraft into the jungle in the opening scene and then get as graphically nasty as you possibly can, with no thought whatsoever to the rest of the film. One minute they're eye-witness to a tribe of jungle dwellers feasting on (what is supposed to appear like) human flesh; the next, they're carving a raft out of bamboo with a musical score that sounds like something from _Little House on the Prairie_ .... and yelling _"Hooray!"_ to make it even more positive. This movie was actually so bad that, when the guy dipped his floppy hat into the river to pour water over his own head, I actually (no joke; I really did!) expected something like piranhas to come pouring out of his hat (full of water from the river, remember) and eat his face off. Yes, it was that ludicrous. The film is not all that graphic - as far as "human" brutality is concerned - but if you're put off by brutality to animals, you'll probably want to skip this one. There's a lot of animal scenes here that are not for the squeamish. [spoiler]There's also a (kind of) rape scene, although it's mostly implied and, in a weird way, kind of a "necessary" part of the story. (The "rape" basically asserts his dominance over the female, causing her to bond with him and begin treating him with a sort of subservient respect.)[/spoiler] Afterward, she goes from traipsing through the jungle stark naked to suddenly wearing a tiger-skin, custom-fitting loincloth that looks like it came straight out of Victoria's Secret. [spoiler]To add to the weirdness, that same _"Little House on the Prairie"_ inspirational score begins to play during her untimely demise.[/spoiler] Yeah, this movie was just really bizarre from beginning to the very ending scenes.
