Intriguing concept. Buddha blackmails a pregnant woman into killing people. As it goes on it keeps adding layers upon layers of weird and original ideas. The first part, when we don't know what's going on, more like a thriller, is really exciting. This Buddha that seems to hate humans, having no issue with hurting kids, cops, or collateral damage. This random woman taken hostage, will she do it or not ? The display of his powers, leaving no doubt that, even if he is not who he says he is, he is definitely supernatural. And her, reluctant, talking to people and realizing that maybe, they all do deserve to die. A bit of a red flag on the bathroom scene with the woman wanting to get rich by accusing the writer. This really is a victim blaming false flag, no woman has ever gotten rich or famous by accusing a powerful man, even when it's real. The whole scene with the father is even better. Very Tarantino like. Then comes a bit more explanation on what the final objective is, and the whole absurdity of such a scenario is grandiose. Buddha sent
his son - well, his second son since apparently the first one was Kurt Cobain - but he was put into an asylum and used in a reality TV show
. That's just the kind of what the fuck idea I like. The ending part is a complete mess. A bit of forced gore, and complete mayhem. I think it was a bit too long. I'm usually not a fan of long scenes where everyone is running around and fighting all over the place. WHen you've seen 2 minutes of it, you've seen it all. If it lasts 10+, what's the point ? The gore autopsy part was fun though. As for the ending, I don't know when I realized that he was probably
her baby
, but it didn't really come as a twist. There are a few plot holes, but it's not too much of a bother. How did she get in the club with a gun though.
