[Festival Scope] What the film does best is tell a story born from folklore to introduce elements about the systems of power and corruption in Africa. B/W cinematography, which highlights the dark bodies in which the white tribal paintings stand out, defines a dreamlike texture, in a search for ancestral origins through the picture. A story about the search for identity, between traditions and modernity, magic and reality, the feminine and the masculine, which draws contrasts to compose a reflection on Africa and its chimerical roots.
