Overview
On either side of the Bering Strait, Nikitas in eastern Siberia and Martha in northern Alaska watch their worlds collapse. The permafrost frozen ground that has remained solid for millennia, sealing within it the era of mammoths is now thawing at unprecedented rates, crumbling and dragging down everything built upon it: all human infrastructure across the Arctic. Homes, power grids, fossil fuel pipelines, roads, settlements, and even entire cities are under threat.
