Nekromantik - Comments & Tips
I watch a *lot* of movies and it's been a long time since I've hated one this much. It had some mild artistic flourishes but still, it's just awful. It does make me question what I'm rating, though: artistic merit or how much I liked it. Artistic merit: 2 / 10. How much I liked it; -17 / 10. If I had to choose between watching this again or finger painting with feces, I'd be washing my hands very carefully afterwards.
The worst part of this movie wasn't anything to do with the corpse, but rather the atrocious way that steak got cooked.
I have no idea what to think about this. Its a gross and shocking movie.
Minus the animal cruelty scene, this movie 100% delivered on its title and movie poster and I commend them for that. It's just that animal cruelty scene. Its unforgivable and way too long and we're forced to see it TWICE. The way this ends though, I'll be grossing my friends out with describing it for years to come.
It's always nice when you and your partner share a common interest. That ending is just too much. Blu ray Extras Watched: Director's Introduction
This movie would benefit from being a short film, it drags quite a bit in certain places. It either needed cutting back or develop the story more so that it didn't need to be padded with boring scenes. I did enjoy it though, some very funny moments, especially the ending which is just mental. I quite liked the editing style of the movie, going the more artsy route definitely made it less extreme than it could've been. Overall it's not a bad movie if you're into extreme cinema, it just needed more story or less runtime to make it better.
This is absolutely one of the worst movies ever made do not watch this under any circumstances.
Well it's a movie, and I watched it.
Boring. Shock just for the shock without anything else. And it has animal cruelty :middle_finger:
Not for the faint of heart. I liked the ending but it was a wild, disgusting journey to get there. I will never do a rewatch but I am glad I watched it. I'm also grateful it's a relatively short movie.
I visited the weirdest corners of the human psyche, and all I got was this lousy ~~t-shirt~~ movie.
