[Fantasia '25] In much the same way that the protagonist feels the frustration of motherhood that envelops her in postpartum depression, the film ends up being a frustrating experience that has an interesting premise only to waste it on a narrative of easy resources and superficial characters surrounding Pénélope. At times it can work as a psychological drama, but its introduction within the horror genre is questionable, because not even the description of the mother's point of view ends up adopting that approach. The progressive isolation of the main character and the bubble she shares with her son are well described, but the introduction of disturbing elements to build a suspense structure is unnecessary.
