Overview

[DOK.fest '22] The daughter of the current vice president of South Sudan and the former revolutionary who led the country's independence, directs this vision of the home after exile, which has something elitist in its privileged position. When the camera takes to the streets and confronts poverty ("those who fought for your father left orphaned children who are now starving"), a braver honesty emerges. But by then it is already too late.
