I've watched my fair share of disturbing movies before but I found this absolutely sickening! Maybe the fact that it's based on the true story of The Siberian Ripper made it even worse. Luke Baines is terrifying in the role and the things he does, there's no word for. Strong gore and nice effects even though the camera doesn't always show what's happening probably due to budget constraints. I got nauseous in the second half especially and had to put it on pause and it's because of the gore, sure, but the mindset of these characters is what was really getting to me. The mother is somehow even more disturbing at times and the relationship they have is sorta fascinating. My biggest complaint is it focuses on the acts more than the psychology of it all, we barely scratch the surface with these people and I wanted more characterization. It gets repetitive too and the acting in the first half was a lot worse than in the second half for some reason. Very unpleasant watch overall but that's clearly the intention. Don't watch it while or after eating!

Brutal, punch in the gut movie. If you can stomach the gore, the filth, the perversion, and the evil coldness, you may be as awed by this film as I was.

This felt more like an unintentional comedy than a horror biopic. The lead actor's creepy look was definitely there, but he way oversold it, and it came off comical to me. The kills and gore were not horrible with the budget they had. The overall acting was OK at best, but definitely weak. Overall, it's watchable.
