Operation Valkyrie: The Stauffenberg Plot to Kill Hitler - Comments & Tips

A solid documentary that makes a good companion to the movie with Tom Cruise on the subject.

A documentary on Operation Valkyrie. It is short, and it spends some time at the beginning with a short biography of Claus von Stauffenberg. It is almost as if the documentary was more about him than about the actual plot. Some of his family members make short appearances to discuss him. I did like that his Catholic faith was included: there was more Catholic resistance to Adolf Hitler that is commonly known. The operation itself is given with not enough details for my liking; almost reduced to bare bones it seemed to me. Perhaps that is all that is reliably known about it.
