[Cannes '25] The success of the proposal lies in not using the usual resources for humanizing dandelions, which are nevertheless given personalities through micro-movements or mimicry reminiscent of silent films. But the journey feels too long and repetitive, with traditional devices such as the danger posed to seeds by entering fast-moving waters. More interesting is the visual treatment of the environments filmed in real images and how they fit into the superimposition of layers, changing perspectives to offer a different representation: a tree fungus filmed from a low angle becomes an architectural monument, the mold filmed in a time-lapse manner resembles a field of flowers.
