The first half is very slow and kinda... Boring? It''s kinda difficult to understand where the movie is going. But the second half is better. Way better. The problem is getting past the first half. A nice movie but it could be shorter and better executed.

A perfectly serviceable rom-com for those who _really_ like romantic comedies. There''s some film work that could be better. Jokes that could be better time, editing that could be tightened up etc. But it does have a great South African flavor to the rom-com formula. I would watch this again for the parts I missed the first time around and for the costume design. 90% of the wardrobe is interesting. The plot is predictable like a mug of hot chocolate. Warms you up in exactly the way you like.. if you enjoy that sort of thing.
