[Venice '25] In his latest film, the director embraces what could be considered experimental cinema, no longer interested in presenting clearly defined characters or representing reality as it is, instead adopting a mannerist, abstract perspective. While the metaphorical approach that Hilal Baydarov employs works effectively as a visual dialogue with the viewer, it falters due to its imprecise and superficial writing. Although the film is rich in images that create fascinating representations of a symbolic world, it ultimately falls short of its intended impact, becoming repetitive and superficial.
