Shabu - Comments & Tips

[IFFR'22] There is an easy connection with Shabu, but the film does not seem to find the right way to develop the story, and is built on anecdotes rather than on an intention to deepen the character and his family. An optimistic view of immigration is offered, removing the drama and focusing on growth. But a more complex vision of the character and his environment would have been interesting.
