I preferred this one to the original Gnomeo and Juliet actually, the addition of Johnny Depp always helps (Even if you can''t see him!) Although I guessed one of the main plot twists from the first 20 seconds of the film (it is aimed at kids after all.) A nice light-hearted movie that''s funny and sweet.

it was not very accurate to the original books but i suppose i can’t be mad at that seeing as they’re gnomes still funny though the ending kinda implied Sherlock and Watson were a couple but that prob weren’t intentional rip

It feels like some kind of Toy Story-inspired-independent-animation-movie, but in a good way, as it was some adorable good fun! The whole gnomes/ornaments idea might sound weird at first, but it ended up working surprisingly well (yes, I haven't seen the first one, so this was new to me). All the voice acting was very on point, my favourite being Moriarty.

I enjoyed this one more than the first '"Gnomeo 'amp; Juliet'" movie. A bit predictable (my 11-yr old daughter figured out one of the big plot twists pretty early), but still pretty fun nonetheless. This one''s aimed at kids so if you keep that in mind, you''ll enjoy it more. I spent the whole movie trying to figure out who was voicing Watson (did not guess that it was Chiwetel Ejiofor--Mordo from '"Doctor Strange'") and the voice work overall was good. If you have kids, it''s worth a watch with them. It won''t drive you nuts like much of what they''re watching on Disney channel and YouTube, at the very least.

Kiddos loved it. Worth the watch.
