A woman finds an bottomless hole in a closet. Lots of intermediate family drama about dementia father. Maybe a bit too much. Then something finally hits the bottom and there is a reaction. The letter saying "[spoiler]he loves marbles[/spoiler]" is a good idea, at least the father remembers that. Though they are selling the house, so who cares ? Loved the parallel between the dog laying in the beginning and the monster at the end. Could have cut the bit in the family drama, I guess it's to distract and make think that the hole is an analogy of something ?
