En route to the honeymoon of William Riker to Deanna Troi on her home planet of Betazed, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise receives word from Starfleet that a coup has resulted in the installation of a new Romulan political leader, Shinzon, who claims to seek peace with the human-backed United Federation of Planets. Once in enemy territory, the captain and his crew make a startling discovery: Shinzon is human, a slave from the Romulan sister planet of Remus, and has a secret, shocking relationship to Picard himself.

The last TNG movie - the last Star Trek movie (I don´t recognize Abramsverse). I had hoped they would continue the storyline from Insurrection concerning the conspiracy in Starfleet but I was very satisfied with this one. The chemistry between Stewart and Hardy is what makes this worth watching. I know many fans don´t like this one, I often heard comments that Stuart Baird was the wrong choice for directing a Star Trek movie but I don´t share these thoughts. As a longtime Star Trek fan myself I think a lot of times other fans critizise something in Trek movies it´s due to the fact that these movies have to appeal to a wider audience. That´s the reason that those not so much Star Trek like elements make it´s way into the features. I can live with that. It´s very sad seeing the crew split up at the end. I always hoped the franchise would continue. But as with the TV show - all good things must come to an end.

Data was, is and will be my hero forever. I really liked the tenth movie. Again, a lot of action, maybe a bit too much for Star Trek, but perfect for my taste. I can't decide if number 8, 9 or 10 is my favorite movie. Three times a 10/10. TNG with its movies was truely fantastic. A superb crew, every single member (also Deanna, although many people don't like her). The movie was a suitable ending to this show. I will miss them.

How could they? :sob::sob::sob:
Data was and is the best character in both TNG and Star Trek universe. To just kill him off like that was incredibly cruel and heartbreaking. I hope this isn't how his story truly ended and that they'll bring him back in Picard and explain that he survived somehow. I really don't want the clone to replace him, it's insulting. There's only one, true Data.
Besides the devastating ending, I enjoyed the movie very much.

[7.6/10] I’m always leery of how much the expectation game affects our experience of just about anything. Tell me that some movie is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and if it turns out to be merely very good, I may walk away disappointed. Tell me that some film is the worst garbage ever com More

This time it's the "Next Generation" who take to the silver screen in what I found to be a passable adventure film. Even for a "Star Trek" film, it starts of implausibly though with "Riker" and "Troi" getting married and having their first dance - but there was no "Lady in Red" or "I Will Always Lov More

Good watch, could watch again and can recommend (at least for dedicated "Star Trek" fans).

I feel like I just enjoy "Star Trek" TNG just enough that I just like that we have movies. I thought this was good, but I completely understand if other people didn't appreciate it.

_**Solid Trek Film**_

So many people inexplicably love to hate "Star Trek: Nemesis" (2002), but it's actually a solid Trek film featuring the Next Generation cast. The lengthy space battle in the final act is second to none in the Star Trek franchise. But that's not the main reason I like it.
