Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost - Comments & Tips

While sentimental, this documentary feels more like a private family heirloom for Ben and Amy than a comprehensive biography. It glosses over pivotal details, such as their early upbringing and the specific break that led to The Ed Sullivan Show. The narrative is often repetitive, frequently revisiting the same points or leaning too heavily on clips. Ultimately, watching it felt like being a guest at a stranger's family reunion, sitting through an overly long slideshow.

I refuse to watch this. Nobody cares about your childhood or your parents Ben. Stop being such a narcissist. Focus on trying to make a funny movie. Gosh I’m a d*ck.

good doc. I first saw Jerry Stiller on Seinfeld and my parents knew him from Stiller and Meara. but I learned a lot of interesting stuff from this.
