It's tense, keeps you guessing, is well acted (not a fan of kingsley, but here he is phenomenal), is enjoyable to see once. If only there wasn't that pretentious ending - "You didn't see that coming, didn't you?". Another, very similar top 250 movie (you'll know which) did it better in every way. Aside from the weak, and considering the very last scene, completely nonsensical ending it is an alright movie to watch.

another case, of a bright idea executed terribly, when I saw the trailer I thought this doctor is having a war in his mind of which side is real and which is lying, I thought the movie is about the doctor's search for sanity, but instead we got a rather cheesy predictable romance story, with enough action just to make it indifferent form any other movie.

Stonehearst Asylum (AKA: Eliza Graves) is directed by Brad Anderson and adapted to screenplay by Joe Gangemi. It's loosely based on an Edgar Allan Poe short story. It stars Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgess, David Thewlis, Ben Kin More
