The plot of this latest Shyamalan flick is not bad and the tension is building up. But somehow there's something missing and the ending is just a big disappointment in my opinion: the devil exists and he want's to collect the souls of "bad" people by killing them. That's not very original, is it?! After the terrific "6th sense"" and the nice plot-twists in "Unbreakable", Shyamalan seems to have lost it: Signs was a catastrophe, The village mediocre at best and with Devil he still is far from his stroke of genius AKA "The 6th sense" in my opinion...

"Devil" is a low gore horror entry that does a good job of relaying some scares but is more concerned with just ratcheting up the tension between five people stuck on an elevator.
