Curious about why I had given the movie a poor rating initially, I decided to rewatch it. To my delight, I thoroughly enjoyed it the second time around. The art style that had initially captivated me still holds its charm, and the ending, which had slipped my memory, turned out to be wonderfully satisfying. Worth checking it out!

Absolutely groundbreaking animation and background design, I feel like you could take a screenshot at any point and it'd be wallpaper worthy. The story sadly seems a bit unfocused to me, there were times where I simply didn't pay attention because my mind started wandering.

This is my favourite anime of all time. It is wonderfully animated in a more untraditional style by an US born director who works mostly in Japan. No worlds of skinny supercute girls and hunky boys. This movie roots it properly.
