Doesn't seem bad, but the style is a bit too flashy and jerky. Some background info is only given in flash screens that use Chinese concepts and terms that were probably badly translated. You can about guess the concepts if you have some notions, but you probably need some good backgrounds on chinese culture and folklore to totally grasp it. So what you can get while piecing it together (narration is not really linear). Tai Bao seems to be the reincarnation of something. It's barely mentioned apart at some point where it implies that he runs very fast because of it. His (supposedly adoptive) father is a priest in a temple where performing a ritual, the Holy mother (a statue) can take upon her the sins of other people. Tai Bao seems to be a vessel for the Holy Mother. He has a tattoo, when rubbing his blood on it he can become possessed by the Holy Mother. We don't really see that happen, but the priest seems to enjoy fucking Tai Bao while he is "possessed". The taking on sins seems to be spiritual (like religious ritual) but also literal as they seem to want to use him as scape goat for a local criminal ("The Shane"), and the whole story is that he rebels against that. [spoiler] At some point we meet A-Queen, Tai Bao's sister (supposedly adoptive too) who has the same tattoo and same power (priest rapes her too while she is possessed"). She seems to be able to be possessed for real though because at some point it gives her great sword fighting abilities that she uses to slaughter cops that were trying (justly) to arrest Tai Bao. [/spoiler][spoiler] Back at the temple Tai Bao and A-Queen then rebel, fight the Shane and the priest to be free of their weird vessel job. They then fuck. And in the morning Tai Bao calls the cops on her because he apparently became the Shane himself and that's what he does in every reincarnation. This whole bit just comes out of nowhere. [/spoiler]
