This one is less darker than the first one. It's bright, sweet, and dreamy, like a good ghost story, like a story you would tell kids to. It still revolves around loneliness and isolation, but it's about Amy now, daughter of Oliver and Alice. It's definitely not horror like the first one, but it's a great drama/fantasy.

I just loved this very unique and magical film. Ann Carter gives one of the most delightful performances by a child actor I have ever seen. If you accept the fact that it's not a horror film like Cat People was, you're in for a real treat.
