The Edukators - Comments & Tips
'"some people never change'" great movie
The years of opulence are coming to an end. Anti-establishment.
So this one ending has been discussed a lot, and depending on which version of the film you watched determines the endings' meaning. In the original German ending, they show the scene where they took Hardenberg boat to do their thing with the satellite tower. In this version it is pretty clear that Hardenberg sold them out in the end. The scene where he reflects at his home, the scene in the back of the police car, and the note say, "some people never change" (referring Hardenberg will never change). A lot of debate on this version discussed how the Edukators knew where the boat was. In an hour and half of the movie early, they had a scene with a list of name on a paper that stated "Yacht-Club." They had access to members' yacht information, and in the cabin scene, they mentioned the yacht as well.
