I honestly don't think they knew what they wanted this movie to be. Some parts were pretty good. Then other parts were just stupid. The slow motion stuff is just mindnumbingly bad. The camera panning so you can see stuff like them loading a gun in slow motion is just bad. Then there is the ending. Don't waste your time on this one.

You're making a film, but why didn't you get rid of those exaggerated scenes? And that camera speeding up for a second or two and then returning to normal was terrible, and you used it everywhere. I really liked the script, but everything else was awful. They exaggerated it so much, it's like in a Chinese movie where a guy jumps up in the air and doesn't come down โ€“ that's the level of exaggeration. I give it a 3 out of 10. I think they tried to make something fantastical.

I was so surprised to see that after the director listed In the end credits there was a script writer too, damm could have fooled me. action scenes ok, but it's very contrived and over played with very questionable acting especially with the tenagers, just not very good......

I feel like with the cast they had and the backstory/ idea like this they could of made it into a pretty good tv show but besides that not a bad movie

I liked the action and the script. Each person bought something to the table. The surprise ending was nice too.

Who wrote this awful movie and donโ€™t get me started on the acting

This was a fun movie to watch considering itโ€™s obvious low budget and amateur acting and direction.

A "Strike Back" reunion? A generic action exercise that quickly falls Apart The plot is painfully unoriginal and poorly developed. It follows familiar action-thriller beats without adding any real personality or depth, making the story feel predictable from the very beginning.Such a shame for Winchester and Sullivan!

"Rather silly" is my first and lasting reaction to "The Internship". It tediously recycles overused concepts to craft, if that's the right word, a predictable and oftentimes absurd, action espionage thriller. It's all about a group of super spy teens trying to escape the CIA, that created them. Worse still, the evil Russians are out to exterminate them, or are they? The action, such as it is, is reasonably well done, if implausible, and the acting is alright but not inspired. In summary, a very ordinary action spy thriller you have seen many, many times before in one form or another. A basic watch.

This movie is so lazy. It is campy as hell and does not take itself seriously, but fails to be entertaining enough that it needs editing tricks to make it feel like something is happening. All those slow-mo action shots? Ew. The slow-mo tries to add the cool factor in tandem with Renee's apparent omniscient ability to know where every bad guy is.Seriously, those slow-mo shots are the tip of the iceberg, the sped-up shots are the real annoying thing. They too happen so much, but outside of the action scenes and makes no sense in their placement. One was in the middle of an establishing shot... for no reason. Those establishing shots too are there to pad time, lots of lingering scenes. The exposition dump at the very beginning is suicide squad level bad, but much worse because it goes on for way too long as well. The script is so cringe, it feels like the game Forspoken in terms of dialogue. Characters say things that should be obvious to them, but need to explain to the audience or have a little moment for us to like the one speaking. Lots of cliche lines too. "How am I going to do that?" "Use your imagination" type shtick trying to sound cool. There's also a really bad reference to Charlotte's Webb that makes no sense in general conversation lol. Lazy writing, generic plot, and another film with no research given to how things really work to suspend disbelief even a little bit. Like really, why does no one, in 2026 know how to either use a smart phone or know how they are supposed to look and behave? Okay supporting actors wit h terrible material to work with, but the main "crew" is bad. Again, everything said or done is to build them up to be cool. It doesn't work hardly ever. The backstories they give are something I wish I saw visually. Because this feels like the Kill Bill squad in a way, but of course introductions are important as Tarantino showed. Clearly this film thinks they're overrated. These people are all meant to be highly trained and skilled, yet do and say things that go directly against that and their intel gathering isn't being gathered at all, its just falling into their lap rather than them doing reconnaissance. It's so frustrating. I really liked the team concept they had going for this, much like The 365 movie that came out a few years back. It has the idea, and a few good executed moments. However, I would have liked if they used the budget they got here to actually make it good. Because there are some expensive looking shots and sets, but there are some lazy repeats of those and costumes. With a with a tie being the only thing changed. This movie is horrible. Motivations are not given weight on screen, can't remember anyone's names, and the plot is told only through dialogue so it is at times hard to follow. Nothing felt built up enough for it to feel resolved by the end
(especially for that twist holy shit that was bad)
and therefore leave the film hollow. **2/10**
