Great! So turely life! Iโll watch it many times!
[Atlantida FF] Surprising. One of those stories that are revealed more unusual than any fiction. The painter''s emotional journey and the thief''s life transformation are in themselves attractive. But the non-linear structure of the story gets the director to save some final surprise that ends up being shocking. The scene in which she shows him his portrait for the first time is amazing.
The only fault in this film is that it has its greatest moment very early on in the movie, the scene where [spoiler]he cries after seeing his portrait[/spoiler] is very powerful, after that many things happen in the movie, but none of them manage reach that level of emotional resonance. The editing was great, I quite liked the jumps back and forwards in time, and the journey Bertil embarks on is interesting to follow, and there''s nothing negative to say about the movie, really. It''s just that it kind of peaks early on, and that''s it.
