Saw this movie yesterday and absolutely loved it. I don't really think it's suitable for small children though, the humor is dark from time to time. Reminded me of Tim Burton's work mixed in with some 'a series of unfortunate events' vibes. Fun, heartwarming and a little dark.

I don't understand why this got so much praise. I loved Klaus, and Netflix disappoints me so bad with that one. Just, not a good movie. Too childish, not at all interesting for an adult, with a weird message - your parents are terrible to you, treat you like animals at best, but hey they're family so you gotta risk dying to save their ass ? not sure I like what's being said right there... the main character was also unbearable to me. overall, very cringe-y, and even the good animation can't make me like that one

Fans of Roald Dahl's stories will like this one. Its a dark and horrible story really, but with glimmers of hope, and characters that bring a smile to your face.
