That hilarious guy from '"Seinfeld'" and the other one from '"Dumb 'amp; Dumber'"? In 1997, I bet the studio execs thought, '"Can''t miss!'" But this movie is only marginally funny. There''s a reason Michael Richards hasn''t made anything good in theaters since '"UHF'". Jeff Daniels plays the straight man, when you want him to be funnier. At least *I* wanted him to be funnier, anyway. Mostly forgettable. If you''re home sick from work/school and it''s on TV, give it a look. Otherwise, skip it.
