Wow. I watch alot of documentaries 'amp; true crime, but this one shocked me to my core. A very well done documentary. Definitely worth a watch.

It's shocking how brainwashed the poor daughter still is. How is she not getting therapy to try and help her face the truth about how evil/sick her mother is? Mother was clearly living some type of fantasy about the boyfriend. Including contracting his new girlfriend. And was jealous of how young her daughter was etc.

Can’t help but feel that the producers of this mess, were glorifying or giving credence to this witch of a predator. Why did we see her face in this so much? And a year and a half? And then the child living on delulu planet, yeah I know she is a child and highly impressionable and subject to her mother’s unconditional love but SHE TOLD YOU TO KILL YOURSELF!

Why didn't they ONCE mention that this woman is mentally ill and should be put in an institution for the rest of her life? This literally made me sick. You can't give someone that sick screen time. Just put her away and let her pay for therapy of her daughter. The daughter has clearly a deep trauma too and the fact that she didn't say a single bad word about her mother means that she is all but "good". Untreated she will pass down the mental illness to another generation. What a sad story about the total failure of the American mental health system.

And the poor girl is still under her spell. I know how hard it is to live in a toxic relationship so I can’t blame Lauryn to miss her mother. But what this women has done is evil and sick, she should be locked up somewhere and Lauryn in therapy. The love bombing from the prison speaks for itself.
