Watching the third of my Mondo Macabro Bollywood Horror collection and it is easily the best one I’ve seen so far. Very moody and atmospheric, full of unusual photography and a pretty dark story. There is also a hefty dose of European horror influence.

About what you would expect from an old horror movie: most of the things that might have been frightening at the time are kinda ridiculous now. The fights are also more reason for a laugh than anything else. But there's also a lot of voluntarily stupid humour. And sometimes it falls in between. It's absolutely ridiculous, but was it on purpose ? Who knows ? On top of that there are a few mandatory Bollywood songs, and let's say the sing/dance level is on par with the SFX. Story is a bit too long. The comic relief character (fake movie director) is way over the top and everything he's involved in could have been removed. Otherwise it's an ok cheap horror flick for its time.
