Imagine tragic news read to you by Dr Seuss and you have _Oskar and Lily_. _Oskar and Lily_ is really two films in one, and they go together as well as pizza and gonorrhea. The first is the depressing story of young Chechen refugee children living in Austria who are separated from their mother and then each other when they are placed ''in the system''. The second movie is a quirky look at growing up illustrated with extreme closeups and smiley faces. Either film would''ve been fun to watch, but as they cancel each other out, the end result is an uneven stalemate.
